Key strategic actions for the Partnership in increasing enterprise have been:

• To inspire positive entrepreneurship role models
• To develop business-education links through effective joint working with schools, HE & FE institutions in West Yorkshire to prepare young people more fully for work and enterprise
• To deliver information, advice and guidance to those considering starting a business
• To link workspace to a strategic network of business incubation services
• To provide start up and high growth start up support
• To recognise the distinct value and support needs of socially motivated enterprises.
